# Silver Glass Silver Glass, also rendered Silverglass, is the translucent creature Pipe summoned from Vanthar’s Sanctarium outside Vosandra’s mansion after the Tescalian fight. Earlier study of its page was a plan; this is a recorded ritual. Pipe placed a small mirror and 50 gold on the ground, opened an orange circular portal with a cold purple vista beyond, and the creature emerged with gill-like wings and a pink-glitter shimmer. Raphius had tied a safety rope around Pipe, and Vosandra observed. When it touched Pipe, joy and pain accompanied burning chest markings, and the narrative says he gained Mirror Image. His body-map connection and that new ability were observed, while the portal’s exact destination and biological nature remain unsettled. The following morning he showed it to the party, describing protection and hunting uses. No permanently reliable guardianship or unlimited duplication is established. When she later offered help, Pipe concealed that he had already performed it; Raphius’s remark the next morning prompted its public reveal. The differing witness boundaries matter. Origin, later custody, limits and relationship to other summons require the wider Sanctarium source chain. See [[Pipe]] and [[Vanthar's Sanctarium]].
