# Harringdon Halls Harringdon Halls is [[Talador Devell]]’s summer estate on a hill above [[Harringdon]], overlooking the sea from cliffs. The party saw the prominent mansion after arriving as shipwreck survivors and later accepted Talador’s invitation. ([[Lineage of the Veiled Kin/01 - Sessions/Session 30 - Harringdon|Session 30]]) ## Hospitality and household [[Walter]] welcomed them through massive wooden doors into an ornate hall with fireplaces, portraits, stained glass and a sweeping staircase. Guests received spacious warm rooms and use of a circular bath fed by a natural hot spring, attended by servants. [[Bedley]] organised formal attire; [[Vosandra]] was present as Talador’s warmage. These establish the Harringdon estate, which should not be conflated with the household’s later Bastion residence. Elena retained armour but handed Spada to a guard. A blue-glowing chair stood at the table’s centre; as she approached, her magical ring ceased warming her. The scene juxtaposes these observations without defining the chair’s mechanism or proving a universal antimagic field. Talador later identified the watching ravens as spying familiars, without naming their owners. An unnamed red-haired armourer supplied the requested gear and shared funds, recorded at [[Devell Armory Supplies]]. This was fulfilment of the equipment offer within household capacity, not an unlimited grant or a gift of Aetherite. ([[Lineage of the Veiled Kin/01 - Sessions/Session 32 - Into Lavenshire|Session 32]]) ## Private disclosures After guests and servants left, Talador dropped his drunken persona, described his suspicions about Postar and the Crown, and offered travel support and contacts. Walter’s reported nationwide curfew prompted the party to stay overnight. These scenes establish a place of hospitality and sensitive conversations, not proof that every employee knew or supported the Lightkeepers.
