# Protect Rose **Status:** Active Keep [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07b - Non-Player Characters/Rose|Rose]] safe, understand why so many powers want her and ensure information about her is used to protect rather than exploit her. ## Relevant Sessions [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 01 - The Child in the Cage|Session 01]] · [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 02 - Thornhollow|Session 02]] · [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 03 - Beneath Hy-Soran|Session 03]] · [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 04 - Return to Berran|Session 04]] · [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 05 - The Harpers and the Thieves|Session 05]] · [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 06 - The Race Through the Mansion|Session 06]] · [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 07 - The Voices|Session 07]] · [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 08 - Leaving Berran|Session 08]] · [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 09 - The Moonlit Bounty Stowaway|Session 09]] ## Current Position Rose is physically safe in [[The Rose of Igoda/08 - Locations/Thornhollow|Thornhollow]] under Cassa and the retired adventurers' protection, but she is not staying put. She continues to pop away on her own. The party has deliberately decided **not** to march directly back to Thornhollow while they are being watched or hunted, because doing so could lead pursuers to Rose. Ahkai's Session 8 explanation adds Torrax, the [[The Rose of Igoda/06 - Factions & Organisations/Shuyet|Shuyet]] and [[The Rose of Igoda/06 - Factions & Organisations/Zinabda|Zinabda]] to the known network of threats around her. Protecting Rose now also means helping with what Rose herself says she needs: finding more Roses of Igoda. The first lead is [[The Rose of Igoda/08 - Locations/Dekinsza|Dekinsza]]. In Session 9 Ahkai shouts to Edgar that **Rose is alive** as Edgar jumps overboard. If Edgar survives, a hostile person who believed he had killed Rose now knows she survived.
