The abandoned [[The Rose of Igoda/08 - Locations/The Broken Arrow|Broken Arrow]] suggests Veska and the Guild may have known more than they claimed, or at least had prepared to cut all ties if the job went wrong. Whether Veska knew [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07b - Non-Player Characters/Rose|Rose]] was a child remains unknown. ### [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 04 - Return to Berran|Session 04]] [[The Rose of Igoda/06 - Factions & Organisations/The Thieves Guild|The Thieves Guild]] contact who originally hired the party. Finding Veska remains one of the party’s possible routes to understanding why the heist happened, whether the Guild knew [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07b - Non-Player Characters/Rose|Rose]] was a child, and why the [[The Rose of Igoda/08 - Locations/The Broken Arrow|Broken Arrow]] was abandoned. ### [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 05 - The Harpers and the Thieves|Session 05]] [[The Rose of Igoda/06 - Factions & Organisations/The Thieves Guild|The Thieves Guild]] leader who originally hired [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07a - Player Characters/Tilly|Tilly]], [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07a - Player Characters/Votoran|Votoran]] and [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07b - Non-Player Characters/Braskir|Braskir]]. He apologises for abandoning them after the heist, admitting it was deliberate. He knew the Guild needed plausible deniability once the [[The Rose of Igoda/06 - Factions & Organisations/The Bardic Circle|Bardic Circle]] job became politically dangerous. He insists he will not harm [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07b - Non-Player Characters/Rose|Rose]], but wants information about her to blackmail the [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07b - Non-Player Characters/Ambassador of Elaris|Elarisian ambassador]] or [[The Rose of Igoda/06 - Factions & Organisations/The Bardic Circle|Bardic Circle]]. He offers the party a chance to beat his new team to the information inside the boarded-up [[The Rose of Igoda/06 - Factions & Organisations/The Bardic Circle|Bardic Circle]] mansion. ### [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 06 - The Race Through the Mansion|Session 06]] Veska turns the search for information about [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07b - Non-Player Characters/Rose|Rose]] into a race. He acknowledges that he wronged the party by abandoning them after the heist, but his idea of fairness is giving them a chance to beat the [[The Rose of Igoda/06 - Factions & Organisations/The Hot Shots|Hot Shots]] to the hidden information inside the boarded-up [[The Rose of Igoda/08 - Locations/Bardic Circle Mansion|Bardic Circle Mansion]]. He remains interested in the information as leverage, especially against the [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07b - Non-Player Characters/Ambassador of Elaris|Ambassador of Elaris]], rather than as a way to protect Rose. ### [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 08 - Leaving Berran|Session 08]] Unknown to the rest of the party, [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07a - Player Characters/Tilly|Tilly]] hunts for a Guild contact during the night. She corners an elderly watcher, puts a poisoned dagger to his throat and orders him to tell Veska that **he has made an enemy of the wrong person**. If Veska asks who sent the warning, the watcher is told to say **"a little bird."** The man promises to deliver the message, but whether Veska actually receives it remains unconfirmed. ## Navigation - [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07a - Player Characters/Player Characters Index|Player Characters]] - [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07b - Non-Player Characters/Non-Player Characters Index|Non-Player Characters]] - [[The Rose of Igoda/00 - Home & Navigation/Campaign Home|Campaign Hub]]
