He fights with paired blades and carries himself like someone accustomed to danger, ships and long stretches of watchfulness. ## Known Facts - Asher was drawn into the group by the [[The Rose of Igoda/10 - Threats & Phenomena/The Popping|Popping]] while camped near the ruins of [[The Rose of Igoda/08 - Locations/Seris Thorne's Mansion|Seris Thorne's burned mansion]]. - He was a privateer aboard the [[The Rose of Igoda/10 - Threats & Phenomena/The Crimson Leviathan|Crimson Leviathan]]. - [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07b - Non-Player Characters/Captain Varro|Captain Varro]] is central to his past. Asher dreams of him wounded aboard the Leviathan and asking whether Asher will make things right. - A mutiny shattered that former life. Rose and the party have complicated that direction by giving him people in the present who also need him. The tension in his story is increasingly between vengeance and responsibility: whether "making things right" means finishing the hunt he started, protecting the family forming around him, or somehow doing both. ## Current Status Currently **popped out**. Asher vanished during the race to the Bardic Circle Mansion in [[The Rose of Igoda/13 - Session Notes/Session 06 - The Race Through the Mansion|Session 06]].
