What she wants taken, they steal. Who she wants dead, they kill. - The Shuyet were sent to recover [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07b - Non-Player Characters/Rose|Rose]] and bring her back to Torrax rather than assassinate her. - That attempt failed. - In Session 7 Ahkai immediately recognised the word **Shuyet** as dangerous while the party was inside the Torraxian tunnel. - One of the papers stolen from [[The Rose of Igoda/07 - Characters/07b - Non-Player Characters/Boristov Sokah|Boristov Sokah]]'s office says Elarisian spies believe they identified a Shuyet operative, made contact and were working to turn that person into an Elarisian asset. - A separate Elarisian military report on Nezphu describes elite, unidentified assassins fiercely loyal to the Empress; the report does not itself name them as Shuyet, so that connection remains likely rather than explicit. ## Open Questions - Who is the Shuyet operative contacted by Elaris? - Does that operative know anything about the hunt for Rose or Nezphu? - Are other Shuyet still searching for Rose?
