Books & Records - This book outlines what occurred within [[Solland]] after The Breaking - Post-Breaking [[Solland]] was one of a a few nations that survived, more miraculous was that the monarchy survived also - However, the people were angry and decimated. With the government unable to help in any significant way and food being sparse, cannibalism, looting and many turned to unlawful ways. - Thus a way to unite the nation was formed, a common enemy - The Fallen Old Gods who were believed to have caused The Breaking. - These crusades sought to hunt down and imprison the fallen gods of the old world, to bring justice and bring about a new age for [[Solland]] - This was the start of Solland's militaristic focus. - War keeps the nation focused. - Eventually The Great Purge was abandoned as the nation grew and unified, but war remained a common focus, and eventually [[The Onus Wilds]] presented a new front to protect, maintaining their focus whilst uniting the nation ## Session 49 Restricted Archive Findings - Solland opened or used the Seal and worked with [[The 26th Page]] during the Purge. - The targets included gods, demi-gods, Archai, ancient spirits and [[Anima Mundi]]. - Some were imprisoned, some killed and some fled. - Pipé recalled a list of names with uncertain spellings, including Aegron, Uluvax, Redol, Myvendra, Dairy Fear, Palani Bloomedov, Thalaren, Yenkai, Kiswas, Mittalun, Tan, Zinkara and Horan. - Torrax provided sanctuary or safe passage to some hunted beings. ## Session 58 - A Surviving Counter-Account [[The Final Days of Whune]] preserves the account of Whune's faithful and should be kept separate from Solland's official historical framing. - The tablets call the persecuting force **the Lands of Sol**. - They say those forces came for Whune's followers **“as they came for all who remained true”** and sought Whune's **divine self** **“in the name of justice.”** - Whune's faithful refused to reveal her hiding place. - This account strongly resembles the known pattern of [[The Great Purge]], but the tablets do not themselves use that name. - The source is devotional and partisan; it is valuable precisely because it preserves a perspective missing from Solland's official account, not because it should automatically replace that account as objective truth.
