# Bastion Sewers ## Known Facts - The sewers are ancient, ornate stone tunnels more than two thousand years old. - Signs are written in Old Solandish, which [[Raphius Sunward|Raphius]] can read. - Routes include outfall, flood chamber, maintenance and service passages. - [[The Blight]] extends beneath the city beyond the visible cave at the Menagerie Gardens. - Green alchemical residue and enormous tracks led the party to a hidden laboratory. - The sewer outfall opens into natural red-stone caverns and an underground sinkhole. ## Artwork ![[Lineage of the Veiled Kin/99 - Attachments/Session Artwork/Session 55/Bastion Sewers.jpg|760]] ![[Lineage of the Veiled Kin/99 - Attachments/Session Artwork/Session 55/Bastion Sewers Mutant Rat.jpg|760]] ## Session 56 Update - The party fought the [[Giant Mutated Rat Beneath Bastion]] and the surrounding rat swarms at the natural sewer outfall. - [[Mealla Glynn|Mealla]] was bitten by the mutated creature and resisted the unknown effect carried by its bite. - The Giant Mutated Rat was the final rat to die, killed by Mealla as it attempted to flee. - Beyond the outfall, the party found a forty-foot drainage shaft feeding a violent underground river. - The river carried the party beyond Bastion’s walls to a pond north-north-east of the city.
